Choice Decision

A slave at some point in training, makes a decision to allow his mistress to own his choices. In other words, he makes a "choice decision."

Behavior is based upon choices. What choices a person makes in life determines what actions they take. Owning a slaves choices is owning the slave's behavior and actions. The feeling of helplessness to control and change his own behavior is important in slave training. Owning a slave's choices instills a feeling of helplessness to control his own behavior.

This is not always an easy decision for a slave to make and is directly related to the trust he feels in his mistress. A mistress may not make every choice for a slave but any she does make must be obeyed. The slave may have an influence on his mistresses final decision by offering advice, but he is bound by her final decision. In other words, in any area of his life that she wishes, she can make the choice as to how he behaves and he is obligated by his slavery to obey.

When a slave makes a choice decision it mean his mistress owns, controls, and can change or modify his behavior. Slavery does not exist without his granting his choices to his mistress.

In early training, the goal of the choice decision theory is to change the slave's behavior, evaluate decision making steps to include his mistresses choices in his actions, improve obedience and the relationship between Mistress and slave. This in turn allows him to effectively satisfy the desire to serve, obey and please her. A slave's choice decision allows his mistress to focus on his current conscious behavioral actions and change them if necessary to please her.

When changing behavior, insight is not enough. A mistress makes an evaluation of current behavior, a plan of action to change undesired behavior is determined and the slave makes a commitment follow the plan of action.

The major part of choice decision involves a slave coming to terms with and learning to accept that he is a slave. Part of this acceptance of slavery is that his choices in life now belong to his mistress. His "freedom of choice" becomes the property of his mistress. His choice options are limited to making a choice to obey his Mistress. Failure to choose obedience will result in a logical consequence that will follow such as punishment and/or additional discipline training.

In the beginning, a slave will have to consciously grant his mistress his choices each time he is given an order or his choices are restricted. As time passes, the granting of choices to his mistress becomes easier for him and will become second nature. At this point, granting a mistress his choice becomes part of his being and natural.

Simply making a decision to granting his mistress all his choices does not mean that training is not necessary. The major goal of slave training is to re-educate and re-orient the slave to better serve, obey and please his mistress. Discipline training and punishment may be necessary to develop the slave. Punishment may be imposed for displeasing his mistress as is praise used when he pleases her. Controlling a slaves body is comprised of controlling his space, time, physical actions, privacy and relationships with others and discipline training can be developed for each area.

Element of a choice decision when compared to common statements about choices: Behavior is chosen as a way to deal with frustration and improving life. A slave's behavior is based upon compliance to his Mistress's choices. Improving his slavery is always geared to obedience and obedience is compliance to his mistress's decisions.

All behavior is a matter of choice. A slave makes a decision to grant his mistress the ability to interject her choices whenever she wishes. His behavior, for the most part, is a result of the choices his mistress makes.

People choose to behave in a way that improves a relationship. This is only accomplished by obeying, serving and pleasing his mistress. That means she makes the decisions as to how he behaves.

Our brain is a monitoring system and we choose from a wide range of actions, one particular action when confronted with a particular event. This general statement is not always true for a slave. The major difference is that a slave may be required to not make a choice himself, but follow the decision of his mistress when confronted with a particular action or event. The decision is hers, his duty is to follow.

Behavior is internally motivated and chosen. For a slave, the internal motivation is to obey, serve and please his mistress, therefore a slaves behavior is not always chosen by him. It may be internally motivated but externally chosen.

The slave makes choices to obey and give his freedoms to his Mistress. What he chooses determines his relationship with his mistress. This is where he makes a decision to become a slave and this involves a choice decision. Only by doing so will the relationship between mistress and slave deepen.

Choice decision states that a slave will choose to change his behavior when: his present behavior is not producing what his mistress wants, and when he believes that the choice of a different behavior will get his closer to the goals that have been set for and adopted by him.

As part of his choice decision, a slave must accept the loss of freedoms, power, and control and relinquish them to his mistress. It is natural for a slave in BDSM slave training to resist or have a reactance to a loss of freedom. After all, he is giving up his right to make a choice. This means accepting that he is yielding more of himself and trusting someone else enough to make choices for him. The level at which he is willing or able to give his freedoms to his mistress is directly tied to the increased level of trust he has in his mistress. He will come to realize that there is no sense in becoming upset with what he can’t control.

The mistress need not listen very long to complaining, blaming or criticizing. These are the three most ineffective behaviors in our behavior repertoire. If a mistress has the power to choose his actions, then she is responsible for what she choose. She is also responsible for the consequences of that choice. The mistress had made the choice as to how she wishes her slave to behave and the slave's duty is to obey. She has taken responsibility for his behavior.

The giving of freedoms is consensual and usually accomplished in steps. In the first step, he must make a decision as to which is more important to him, freedom or slavery. If slavery is the answer, then he will accept the loss of freedom, then the fear will subside and she will find peace and calmness in the deepening of his slavery. The satisfaction of accomplishment he feels when he yields to his mistress and finds his inner peace and destiny makes the choice a valid one and aids in his overall development.

When a slave makes a choice decision he should focus on gaining awareness of current total behavior and have a wiliness to change it to please his mistress. Acceptance and awareness helps develop a positive self-image.

Major questions a slave should ask as part of developing his skills to grant his choices to his mistress are:

Does your present behavior have a reasonable chance of pleasing your mistress and taking you in the direction you want to go?

What are you doing now to deepen your slavery?

Is what you are doing helping or hurting?

Is what you are doing against the rules?

How committed are you to changing your life and becoming a slave and how is this behavior helping you achieve that?”

Who are you and what is your part in this relationship?

Who do you serve?

What freedoms, power, and authority have you given to your mistress and which ones are you holding onto? What are you gaining by holding these freedoms, powers and authority?

What is the correct choice to make in order to deepen your slavery?

An effective technique to establish control of a slave's choices is for a mistress to identify specific ways for her slave to serve, obey and please her, therefore helping him fulfill the desire to obtain slavery. This identification should contain current behavior practices, a plan of positive changes that requires action on the slave's part and be simple to follow. This allows the slave to reflect upon choices he has given to his mistress and define areas that need improvement.

The decision a slave makes to allow his mistress to own his choices is key to his development.
